Planet Aid Goes Across the Bay

This past Sunday, November 5, more than 19,000 runners crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge as part of the Across the Bay 10k.

Many runners remove and drop layers of clothing as they go along the course to stay cool. Instead of letting the clothing end up in a landfill, Planet Aid volunteers were there for the fourth year in a row to collect any articles shed during the race.

Congratulations to all runners who made the 10-kilometer trek!
