Planet Aid helped the Ruxton community recycle clothes and shoes during its annual "Dumpster Day" on Saturday, April 30. Locals were encouraged to bring out their unwanted household items, and members of the Planet Aid team were on hand to make sure that no textiles ended up in the trash. This is the second year that Planet Aid has participated in this event, which  took place from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Riderwood Elementary School.

"We were very pleased to be invited back as a donation/recycling partner for the Ruxton Community Association Spring Clean Out," said Territory Manager Jason DeGraw. "Having a Planet Aid truck on site resulted in hundreds of pounds of textiles avoiding the Baltimore County landfill."
