Planet Aid and Hannaford Supermarket in Waltham, Massachusetts helped raise funds for a local nonprofit organization. "To give back to the community that so generously supports the Planet Aid donation bin at Hannaford, we presented a check to Healthy Waltham," said Planet Aid Territory Manager David Carmack. More than $1,200 was donated to help support their mission.
Healthy Waltham aims to promote healthy lifestyles through community collaborations, events, programs and partnerships focused on health education, promotion, and chronic disease prevention, especially among vulnerable populations.
Hannaford Supermarket has also donated funds from the yellow bin it hosts on its property to the local YMCA and the Waltham Boys & Girls Club. Planet Aid is proud to help support these local organizations and all of the great work they do.
