## Green Habits, Brighter Future - Free Lesson Plans

This month, we’re embracing sustainability with our **Green Habits, Brighter Future** lesson plans! As spring begins and we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, it's the perfect time to inspire students to “go green” in their daily lives.

These engaging, hands-on activities will help students explore energy conservation, waste reduction, and sustainable living. From calculating their carbon footprint to taking on a classroom-wide Eco-Challenge, students will discover how small actions can make a big impact. Let’s empower the next generation to build a brighter, greener future—one habit at a time!

## March Eco-Challenge: Green Classroom Makeover

### Deadline: March 31

This month, we’re challenging students and teachers to transform their classrooms into eco-friendly spaces! The Green Classroom Makeover Contest encourages creative sustainability by incorporating green practices like recycling, compostable materials, and energy-saving solutions.

### The Prize?

A Science Club Garbage to Gardens Compost Kit & Decomposition Book to keep the eco-learning going!

### How to Participate:

1. Implement green changes in your classroom.
2. Snap before & after photos of your transformation.
3. Submit them to [cjones@planetaid.org](mailto:cjones@planetaid.org) by March 31st for a chance to win!
