It was a great day to celebrate **Planet EARTH Day**! The event was held Saturday, April 26th, 10am-2pm, at Planet Aid's facility at 47 Sumner Street in Milford.

More than 1,000 pounds of recyclable goods were collected, and event-goers enjoyed face painting, balloon animals from BoBo the clown, and more.

Congratulations to the winner of the [Poster Paper Bag Art Contest](https://www.planetaid.org/blog/your-local-planet-aid/new-england/news/southern-new-england-earth-day-art-contest-2014), Riley Walsh! Riley won a Kids Birthday Party from [Pinz of Milford](http://pinzbowl.com) worth $200!
