In honor of Earth Day, Planet Aid's [Rhode Island Donation Center](https://www.planetaid.org/service-areas/new-england) held a donation drive April 20, 21, and 22. Local radio station [Mixx 99.3](http://mixx993.com/) was at the event on April 21 with music and games, and food and drink was available thanks to generous donations from [Domino's](https://pizza.dominos.com/rhode-island/middletown/19-w-main-rd/), [Papa Gino's](https://locations.papaginos.com/ri/middletown/619-west-main-road.html?utm_source=yext&utm_medium=local&utm_campaign=listings), and [Subway](http://www.subway.com/en-us/findastore?zip=newport.%20ri).

The event was a great success with over 23,000 pounds of donations collected from more than 250 donors.

Congratulations to our raffle winners: Monica Black, Lynn Colette, Eric Cormier, Matt Koles, and Cassandra Lovely!

And a big thanks to sponsors: [The Annex](http://www.annexcomics.com/), Holy Smokes, [Subway](http://www.subway.com/en-us/findastore?zip=newport.%20ri), [A-1 Pizza](http://a1pizzanewportri.com/), and [Nautical Nails and Spa](https://www.facebook.com/nauticalnailsandspa/).
