Planet Aid has been helping Americans recycle and repurpose their clothes with its signature yellow bins since 1997. The Planet Aid Thrift Center is our first brick and mortar retail store, and we are excited to provide the local community new jobs and a source for affordable, stylish clothing.

Americans throw out 85 percent of their textiles. Most municipalities do not offer textile recycling services, so we want to make sure that clothes and shoes never end up in the landfill by placing our yellow bins at convenient locations, so you never have to go out of your way to recycle.

Our philosophy is the same with the Planet Aid Thrift Center. We accept clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, home decor, toys, movies books, and games that you no longer want, and we help find a home for them that isn't the landfill.

Our development projects are designed and carried out to aid the less fortunate in escaping from the cycle of poverty. Your donations and purchases help fund programs like teacher training, Child Aid, Microfinance, Farmers' Clubs, and more. We work in 12 countries in Africa, Asia, and the Americas, all because of your support and generosity.

We work with local communities in the states we serve to give back to the people who make our work possible. Whether it's donating coats to homeless shelters, supporting our veterans, or helping organizations fundraise, we are always looking for opportunities to get involved.
