Give Old Items a New Home at WUCycle 2014

Event: Winthrop University's 5th annual WUCycle 2014
Time:  12-5 p.m.
Location: Winthrop University Student Activity Center

The goal of the event is to both give and receive freely. People are invited to donate unwanted but useful items while also browsing other donated items, which they can then take home, free of charge. There is no requirement to donate something in order to take something.

Items for donation can be dropped off in the Student Activity Center gym from 5 to 8 p.m. on April 10, and also from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on April 11.

Those with a Winthrop ID will get to browse all of the items first starting at 12 p.m. The event is open to the public beginning at 2 p.m. Leftover clothing and shoes will be picked up by Planet Aid.  The items donated and recycled will be used to make a difference  in the lives of people around the globe who need it the most.

Prohibited items include pornography, drugs, alcohol, weapons, live animals, perishable food, undergarments, hazardous substances, open cans of paint and broken/unsafe items.
