Planet Aid Helps Local Community Charities - Planet Aid, Inc.

NORTH KANSAS CITY, MO. - Planet Aid collected more than 1 million pounds of clothes and shoes from within the Kansas City, Mo,. city limits; clothes that might have ended up in area landfills. Throughout the year, coats and blankets are separated and are stored at the North Kansas City facility until winter comes. Planet Aid gave these coats and blankets to organizations that help those in need within the areas around us. In 2012, Planet Aid donated more than 20,000 pounds of coats and blankets back to the communities. In Kansas City, Mo., Planet Aid donated 10,600 pounds of coats and blankets to charities including Care of Poor People (COPP); Uplift, Inc.; Spofford House; and Hope Faith Ministries.
