Introducing "The Loop by Planet Aid": Delivering Style in Full Circle to Baltimore's Fells Point
Planet Aid is thrilled to announce the opening of a brand new sustainable fashion store, "The Loop by Planet Aid." The store will be located in the heart of Fells Point at 609 South Broadway in Baltimore, MD.
A soft opening is scheduled for February. This exciting venture reflects Planet Aid's commitment to providing high-quality clothing at affordable prices while promoting sustainable and circular fashion practices within the community. The grand opening is scheduled for March, marking a significant addition to the Fells Point community’s vibrant landscape.
A Natural Fit in Fells Point
Fells Point is renowned for its eclectic mix of local businesses, artistic flair, and strong community vibe. The Loop by Planet Aid aims to enrich this culture by offering a unique shopping experience that combines style and sustainability.
Christina Jones, Planet Aid’s Program Manager of Retail Expansion, expressed excitement about the new location, stating, “Fells Point is known for its local businesses, creativity, and sense of place, and The Loop feels like a natural fit. Elevating Secondhand Fashion
The Loop by Planet Aid is set to redefine perceptions of secondhand shopping.
Laverne Bost, The Loop’s Regional Retail Store Manager, shared her pride in the quality of the offerings: “I’ve always taken a lot of pride in the quality of the secondhand pieces we put on the floor. People are often surprised by what they find because it doesn’t match their expectations of a secondhand store. With The Loop, we’re raising that bar even higher." Bost continued, “Whether it’s something trendy, timeless, or truly vintage, our goal is to offer pieces that feel special, well cared for, and worth discovering.”
More Than Just a Store: A Hub for Sustainability
Beyond its stylish inventory, The Loop by Planet Aid will host seminars on sustainable topics, including clothing repair and identifying vintage finds. These educational sessions aim to empower shoppers to make informed choices and embrace more sustainable lifestyles.
Jones says, “People are increasingly seeking ways to make better choices, whether that involves supporting local businesses, reducing waste, or being more intentional with their spending. Secondhand fashion brings all of that together in a way that feels relevant and accessible.”
As The Loop by Planet Aid joins the Fells Point community, it is inviting everyone to be part of its sustainable fashion journey. The Loop by Planet Aid is more than just a store—it's a movement toward making eco-friendly choices without compromising on style or quality.
