Join us at The Loop by Planet Aid for a creative after-hours denim painting workshop led by Baltimore artist Rashida Cotton. Spend the evening transforming thrifted denim into one-of-a-kind wearable art while exploring creativity, self-expression, and the possibilities of sustainable fashion.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or picking up a paintbrush for the first time, this workshop is designed for everyone. We’ll provide the art supplies and guidance you need to create a piece you’ll be excited to wear.
What to Expect

- No painting experience required
- A fun, creative evening centered on reuse and sustainable fashion
- Your own custom piece of wearable art to take home
Bring It or Thrift It
Bring your own denim to transform, or find the perfect piece while thrifting at The Loop. Workshop attendees can receive up to $10 in credit toward a denim purchase at The Loop for the event.
Jeans, jackets, and other denim pieces are all opportunities to turn something pre-loved into something uniquely yours.

Donate to The Loop
Have gently used items? Donate to help stock our stores and reduce waste:
- Drop items at any Planet Aid donation bin or donation center
- We accept clothing, shoes, and accessories in good, usable condition
Donations are tax-deductible. Planet Aid is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Tax ID: 04-3348171), and the IRS allows deductions for the fair market value of used clothing.
You can request a receipt for your donation by filling out this form. Be sure to check your spam folder for your emailed receipt.

Can I return items?
No. All sales are final. Because each item is unique, we can’t offer returns or exchanges. Our staff is always happy to help you find what you need before you check out.
What payment methods do you accept at the secondhand store?
We accept:

Can I bring donations directly to the store?
Yes, bring your gently used clothes, shoes and accessories to donate when you shop.
What types of donations do you accept?
Clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories in good, usable condition. No furniture or household items, please.
Do you offer fitting rooms?
Yes. The Loop secondhand store has fitting rooms so you can try items on before you buy.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. Planet Aid is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations of used clothing, shoes, and accessories may be deductible at their fair market value. Items must be in good condition to qualify. To request a receipt for your donation, fill out this online form. You should consult a tax advisor before claiming deductions.
