Aid for Tornado Victims Delivered

Planet Aid, Oklahoma tornado, Moore Oklahoma, disaster reliefPlanet Aid and Care Of Poor People (COPP) in Kansas City have joined together to provide relief for the victims of the tornado that struck Moore, Oklahoma.  "It's times like these that people come together. It makes you proud to be from a great town in the Midwest." said Brian Thompson, Planet Aid "˜s Kansas City Transportation Manager.  Together with COPP, Planet Aid collected nearly 7,000 pounds of needed items that include non-perishable food, water, and clothing.  The truck arrived in Moore on Tuesday at around 5 pm. 

Richard Tripp, Director of COPP said, "Planet Aid has been helping Care Of Poor People provide the materials to help us save lives in our community. This step of helping the people in Moore is really nothing new. It is just another chance for Planet Aid to show their humanity and love toward those that are hurting, and we at Care of Poor People are proud to be working in cooperation with them in this worthwhile endeavor."
