Video: Teaching Reading in Mozambique

To address literacy challenges in Mozambique, Planet Aid's Food for Knowledge project has developed a flagship early-grade reading program that is helping children begin reading in the indigenous languages of Changana and Rhonga.

This reading program, developed in partnership with the Government of Mozambique and funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's McGovern-Dole Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program, is helping overcome barriers to greater literacy while achieving project sustainability through collaboration with the Mozambique Ministry of Education.
