Baltimore, MD — March 30, 2026 – Planet Aid, a nonprofit known for its iconic yellow donation bins and textile recycling mission, announces the grand opening of its new secondhand retail brand: The Loop by Planet Aid.

Grand Opening Details:

  • Date: April 18, 2026

  • Time: 12:00 PM Eastern Time

  • Where: 609 S. Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231

  • What: Grand opening, ribbon cutting, games, discounts, prizes and more!

The Loop is a secondhand clothing store designed for conscious shoppers who want more from resale: clean stores, thoughtfully selected items, and an elevated shopping experience. The name reflects Planet Aid’s mission to keep clothing in circulation and out of landfills, while supporting people and communities around the world.

“The Loop is where sustainability meets style,” said Uli Stosch, the Chief Officer of Strategic Development at Planet Aid. “It’s secondhand shopping that feels modern, warm, and accessible, without the clutter or chaos people sometimes associate with thrift. The name reflects our mission to keep clothing in use and out of landfills—style in full circle, with every purchase helping communities thrive.”

The Loop stores are organized, clean, and easy to shop, offering everything from everyday basics to unique finds. Items include gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, and more. Inventory changes regularly, and regular sales cycles encourage both frequent visits and sustainable habits for all income levels.

Every purchase at The Loop supports Planet Aid’s environmental and humanitarian programs, including teacher training, youth development, and agriculture projects in the U.S., Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

Key features of The Loop by Planet Aid include:

      • Curated secondhand fashion for real life
      • Clean, organized shopping environments
      • Transparent sustainability mission
      • Proceeds supporting local and global development programs

The soft opening of The Loop was in March and the grand opening is on April 18.
