Planet Aid Joins 35 NGOs in Urging White House to Investigate Kunduz Bombing

Planet Aid President and CEO, Ester Neltrup, joined 35 other CEOs from U.S. international development organizations in signing a letter that urges President Obama to begin an investigation into the October 3 bombing of the Médecins Sans Frontière's hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan. The hospital had been repeatedly hit by U.S. airstrikes, killing 22 patients and doctors and wounding 37, and with 33 still remaining missing. The CEOs—all members of the Interaction Alliance—expressed their grief for the families and their concern for the need to establish an independent body to examine the facts.
