ICPD is organized each year by CECP, an association that draws together and empowers senior executives of the world's leading companies to achieve progress on societal challenges while driving business performance. The day is a chance for businesses to acknowledge and reflect on their achievements in corporate societal engagement, build awareness of the benefits of corporate community investment, and inspire companies around the world to engage further in giving initiatives.

Planet Aid would like to recognize Johnson & Johnson for its continued support of programs in developing countries throughout the world. Since 2002, the Johnson & Johnson Company has partnered with Planet Aid and Humana People to People (HPP) on the Total Control of the Epidemic (TCE) program in a number of African countries. The program employs a community-based approach to address issues related to HIV/AIDs and the premise is that given sufficient knowledge and tools people can liberate themselves from the devastating impact of this disease. Through Johnson & Johnson's generosity and commitment, in South Africa alone, more than 600,000 people have been reached through the TCE model.
