Planet Aid's Ohio Branch Partners with Imani Temple Ministries for Shoebox Necessities

Cleveland Heights is home to Imani Temple. The church is one of the bin-host locations for Planet Aid. From January to October, clothing and shoes are collected for Planet Aid. However, in November and December, the bin serves another purpose. It is, first, decorated just like a beautifully gift-wrapped present and becomes a Christmas gift bin to collect shoeboxes of necessities for kids.

This year marks the second time Planet Aid has partnered with Imani Temple to collect shoeboxes in the local community during the holiday season. The shoebox donations include school supplies, hygiene items, hair clips, gloves, flashlights, watches, earrings, and small toys. Upon collection, boxes are distributed to local children in the Cleveland Heights area.
