On August 2, 2012, Planet Aid was one of many sponsors of the United Way of Central Maryland's participation in Baltimore's first Project Homeless Connect - a single day endeavor to provide a single location where multidisciplinary service providers collaborated to assist and empower the homeless and the at risk of homelessness. The event was hosted by The Journey Home, Baltimore's 10-year plan to end homelessness in the city.
