Project Green Schools Celebrates 10 Years

Project Green Schools held its annual Green Difference Awards on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Massachusetts State House. The awards are held to honor and recognize national environmental education and STEM education efforts led in schools and communities throughout the nation.

The organization also celebrated its 10-year anniversary with an evening event that included guest speakers, supporters, board members, and award honorees.

"We have just begun our 10th anniversary year and the achievements to celebrate are significant ... These young citizens of the world are making a significant impact on the environment, our culture, and the economy," said Stacy Goodman, Chairman of Project Green Schools' Board of Directors.

Planet Aid's Jackson Fernandez attended the event. "Planet Aid is proud to have supported Green Schools for so many years and to be a part of this celebration. We are inspired by the energy and commitment that the students bring to the effort," he commented.
